This is an album/release that is actually two albums/releases, with an intermission track separating them. Recorded in similar manners, "you think you know everything" was created at a time when I was feeling confident and sure of myself and able to reflect on choices I made, look at myself in the mirror and grow from my mistakes. "undone" was written at a time when that feeling and confidence dissipated and frayed, and I was at the beginnings of a period of uncertainty in my abilities. I often go through these kinds of ebbs and flows and often have very strong polar opposite experiences within days of each other. And I write music partly as a way to catalog that, interpret it, and try to hopefully grow from it all.
